Livingston, Louisiana

We sure were in no hurry to leave our campground this morning.  In fact, we hummed and hawed about staying another day, but we wanted to get a little closer to New Orleans when we meet our friends on Tuesday.

Wow, did we luck out !!  We are at another Passport America park, that is even nicer than where we just left.  It is called Lakeside RV Park, and it is truly a gem.

They have a huge 18 acre pond in the middle, swimming pool, dead level sites, and full hook ups.  Plus, the Wifi is as fast as our internet at home.

The lake is stocked with fish, and you don't need a
licence, nor do you have to pay for each fish caught.

They even have a resident swan, that Teresa was lucky enough to get a photo of.

This is no ugly duckling !!

The office staff and the other RV'ers are super friendly, so I know we will enjoy our two days here.

We bbq'd hotdogs for supper - our third straight night of bbq'ing.  We sure love our Weber.....thanks again, kids !!

It is still warm out this evening, so I think we can sleep with our windows open again.  See you tomorrow.

  1. Gotta love the warm weather and exploring new resorts, so many to see.
We could have passed you on I-10 today, going in opposite directions heading from Hammond LA to Turtle Bayou just east of Houston TX.
Enjoy southern Louisiana and New Orleans!
