Natchez, Mississippi

Well, we finished our wonderful drive on the Natchez Trace Parkway, and it lived up to everything we had heard about it.

Our only disappointment was to find out that the last campground on the parkway, was FULL.  A rarity at this time of year, but we noticed a Church Youth Group was setting up tents, so we didn't feel so bad...LOL.

We have reservations at another park starting on Monday, so the next couple of days we will meander in that direction.

The weather is much improved, and we are expecting highs around 75 for the next few days.

We are safe and sound, and ready to slow down and relax !

  1. When we had the plan to go to Mississippi we were going to go to Natchez....so familiar to me. Too bad about the campground being full - guess you were surprised. Hope the weather has warmed up - our's is ok here - was supposed to be 72F today - felt pretty warm.

  2. Just left Natchez an hour ago. Was there for a High School football game. Would love to have met the two of you.

  4. I left a comment yesterday but today I noticed on more than one they did not post.
Oh well sorry you couldn't get in the campground last night. But thats whats nice about driving your house around just park somewhere and all is good. Unless they chase you off.

I keep hearing so much about the Trace, just might have to get moving on that road some day.
